Introducing Whitefriars
Whitefriars Children's Centre is located on the ground floor of a 1980's brick building in the grounds of Whitefriars First and Middle School. Some of the childcare takes place in the refurbished Foundation Stage unit which has been developed to offer a range of wrap-around and out of school care to children under five years old.
Whitefriars was officially opened by the Mayor Councillor Jean Lammiman and TV presenter Gareth Jones on the 28 September 2007. Activities which were held on the day were, face painting, henna, circus skills, marionette shows, paint your own mug, sand play, balloon modelling and various stalls providing information about services within Harrow. Despite the weather being wet fun was had by all.

Architects plan for the children's centre.
