Introducing Stanmore Park

Stanmore Park Children's Centre is a purpose built centre located on the new Stanmore Park Estate. The facilites include space for childcare and education and a community room.

Centre objectives

• To provide a warm and caring environment in which all children are encouraged and given an equal opportunity to develop to their full potential
• To provide a secure, safe and stimulating environment where each child feels respected, valued and confident
• To provide a broad and differentiated curriculum for the children which stimulates their learning
• To work in partnership with mothers, fathers and carers recognising that they may have different expectations for themselves and their child. We aim to treat everyone as an individual and with equal respect
• To develop a range of services that support both the children and families from the local community
• To work in partnership with other agencies to enhance the services we provide for families
• To encourage staff to work effectively as a team, sharing skills and expertise and knowledge
• To enable and encourage the personal and proffessional development of staff, through supervision, appraisals and training
• To offer a service for mothers, fathers and carers who work for Harrow Council
